Why self-assess?
You don’t need to be in crisis to check in on your mental health.
Whether you’re feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or just not yourself — this is a simple, private way to understand what might be going on. It’s a first step toward clarity, confidence, and, if needed, connection to further support.
The self-assessment helps you:
- Make sense of how you’re feeling
- Spot early signs of concern
- Explore what support might be right for you
How it works
Our self-assessment tool is built on clinically validated frameworks, simplified into clear, human language. It can be done either at your own pace as an informal chat format with Nomi, our smart chatbot, or as a more traditional structured assessment that takes just a few minutes to complete. Either can offer a personalised summary based on your responses.
- No data shared without your explicit consent
- No pressure — just clarity and direction
You’ll receive an overview of what your responses may indicate and suggested next steps — including when and how to seek additional help.
Who it’s for
This is designed for anyone wondering if what they’re feeling might be something to explore further.
It can be especially helpful for:
- Adults and young people navigating stress, anxiety, or life changes
- Parents and carers concerned about a loved one
- Students under pressure or struggling to cope
- Emergency services personnel — including police, firefighters, and paramedics
- Armed forces members and veterans
- Farmers and those in isolated or high-pressure environments
- Anyone referred by a GP, employer, charity, or community organisation
We also support practitioners and service providers who wish to offer this tool as part of a wider care pathway or triage process.

What it’s not
This tool does not provide a diagnosis. It doesn’t replace professional advice, and it won’t tell you what to do.
It’s a starting point — a safe and private way to understand yourself better, and to consider whether it might be time to talk to someone. It can be with you through your wellness journey from initial concern or curiosity, to formal care, and support during the healing path.
